In Küçükköy, we brought together a Turkish hammam, sauna and indoor swimming pool within the Hamam 365 wellness complex.
The project brings together not just a traditional hamam, but also a sauna, an indoor swimming pool and a lobby integrated with an ornamental pool at the entrance. From the göbek taşı to the washing areas, from the sauna to the lighting around the pool, every detail carries the warmth of classical Turkish bath architecture together with the ease of use of a modern facility, under one roof.
The most critical part of the process was making sure the hammam, sauna and indoor pool could operate without disrupting one another's heat and humidity balance. That's why we designed a separate mechanical infrastructure for each area; the pool's water treatment system and the hamam's steam line run independently, but under the same operational logic. The ornamental pool and lobby at the entrance, being the first thing every visitor experiences, were treated with particular care.
From the marble washing areas to the wooden sauna cladding, every surface was chosen from long-lasting materials able to withstand intense humidity and constant use.
Küçükköy Hamam 365 is one of the projects where Berrak Havuz brought together a hammam, sauna and pool in a single space. Coordinating different systems within one facility requires careful planning of temperature, humidity and maintenance access.
